A Brief History

CDC have been supplying the Fashion and Retail markets since 1987 and during that period, we have established an excellent reputation for quality of service.  The full company name is Curry's Distribution Co. Ltd. T/A CDC

We initially started supplying Tag attaching products to a diverse customer base and quickly expanded the Accessory range of products to include Display Hooks, Garment Clips, Labels, Packaging and Cleaning Products etc. 

To continue the growth of the business, we invested in the Hanger market and started supplying Plastic hangers to manufacturers and the Retail sector.  This was followed by Wooden hangers Padded hangers, Metal hangers and many other hanger styles.  We now supply hanging solutions to many store groups in the UK and continue to increase this product offering.

CDC have also introduced a range of Display products. This started initially with Garment rails and now includes a wide selection of Mannequins and Torsos.

We hold a strong position in the market for these products and are continuing to expand the product range. We would appreciate any suggestions for new products in the future, as our growth philosophy is centred on satisfying our customers requirements.

New Premises

We moved into our brand new purpose built 10,000 sq.ft. Distribution Centre in October 2004, which will hold over 800 pallets. This enables us to supply most of our internationally sourced products from stock. You are very welcome to come and visit us and see the products for yourself. How to find us.

CDC considers environmental policies and practices when selecting suppliers.

We have reduced significantly the use of paper and wherever possible, we use recycled paper and office products.

We source all our printing ink cartridges from suppliers which collect and recycle waste cartridges.

CDC sources fair-trade refreshments and food for office use and for company visitors where possible.

CDC takes responsibility in participating in local projects that are beneficial for the local community. We regularly promote among our members the annual 'Race for Business' charity run event which supports the Farleigh Hospice.

CDC takes action to eliminate or reduce as far as practically possible any potentially adverse environmental impacts.
